Where can I go to get a dog or cat license, and what is the cost?

Dog and cat licenses are issued annually and expire Jan. 31 of each year. (NOTE: Licensing begins with the township for 2024 on Jan. 2, 2024)

The Pet License Application is available as a PDF to complete online.

You may also obtain one at the Township Clerk's Office, 984 Tuckerton Road, Room 201. Dogs and cats must have rabies vaccination for coverage for the duration of the license period. You must bring proof of rabies vaccination and proof of spaying/neutering information. 

Fees - Current Residents

Jan. 1 to Jan. 31 of Licensing Year:
Dog/Cat - Spayed/Neutered - $14
Dog/Cat - Non-spayed/Neutered - $17

Feb. 1 to Feb. 28 of Licensing Year:
Dog/Cat - Spayed/Neutered - $19
Dog/Cat - Non-spayed/Neutered - $22

March 1 to Dec. 31 of Licensing Year:
Dog/Cat - Spayed/Neutered - $39 (Original $14 fee per pet, plus additional $25 late fee per household)
Dog/Cat - Non-spayed/Neutered - $42 (Original $17 fee per pet, plus additional $25 late fee per household)
